This is truly one of the hardest choices I've made in my 1,000 matchups on Flickchart. Both films I would easily put on my Top 25 favorite films of all-time list. But which do I like more? Fargo is simply brilliant from the Coens, but The Silence of the Lambs seems to stand out more as a cinematic masterpiece.

This is so unfair

Wow, this is tough. With a gun to my head, I'd pick Lambs. Both are very well-made, but Lambs is a classic script in terms of structure, from a fine book.

Im going with Silence of the Lambs

GAH. both are nearly perfect, but in different ways. I guess i'll go with Silence because i know deep down in my heart that it's a better film, and i've watched it more times than fargo (although both VHS copies died pretty worn out).

Both great films, but at the end of the day I think I liked Fargo better.

I like Silence of the Lambs more!

Hannibal Lecter, Buffalo Bill, nuff said.

Silence is good entertainment, but highly overrated. Fargo is flawless.

The Silence of the Lambs

Wow here we go this is a good match up I prefer Silence

Am I going to go with Fargo? Oh, ya, you betcha.

Not difficult at all for me. Give me them Lambs.

Silence...by a hair...

Two great 90s thrillers in a close match up. I go with Silence of the Lambs.

Tough choice. Two damn near perfect films with very different tones and themes. I gotta go with Fargo on this one.

Fargo is honestly better. It just had better writing
