The Texas Chain Saw Massacre vs. Dog Day Afternoon

Two fine examples of awesome 70s filmmaking. I think Dog Day gets the edge for performances.

I miss John Cazale.

Legendary actor that just breathes comedic relief into vey movie he is in, but still does not disrupt the seriousness and integrity of a film.

Comedic, yet disturbing at the same time. Fantastic.

Plus you can't beat high pitched 70's Pacino. Much better than 90's onwards, deep voiced Pacino.

Dog Day Afternoon wins

Dog Day wins. Texas Chainsaw is not a good movie.

This is Pacino's second best performance after Godfather Part 2.
