Fantasy can take several forms, here are two different examples. Conan is the stereotype of oiled muscles, snake cults, and magic. It's a well put together film with some great imagery. It does what it should do, and it does it well. The Princess Bride is a fairy-tale with tales of derring-do, jokes, and romance of a different hue to Conan. It's a fantastic story that makes you feel all warm and safe inside. I can even tolerate the Peter Falk/Fred Savage bits. The Dread Pirate Roberts takes out Arnie with low cunning and better swordmastery.
I guess I preferred the oiled muscle,snake cult,magic,Arnold the Barbarian type of fantasy.

Love all the characters in Princess Bride and its a great film and story one of my fav films but the first Conan is bad-ass and set the stage fof fantasy films
