Le Cercle Rouge vs. Goldfinger

The epitomes of cool. One French. One British. And on different sides of the law. Le Cercle Rouge takes cool to new frostier levels of chilliness, performing another trademark Melville burglary in complete silence. Alain Delon is icy, sculpted from marble, as unflappable as a glacier. In contrast Sean Connery has red blood flowing through those veins. He's not perfect, but when his imperfections let him down, he's got the charm to see him safe. I'm picking Goldfinger. And not just because I'm from the island side of the English Channel.
