I wish I liked Death Wish more. Revenge, jazz fusion, vigilantism, made in the 70s, and whiny leftists thought it was "fascist", all that stuff is great on paper. It should have been right up my alley, but it was just kinda... wooden and emotionless and plain. I wouldn't commit to calling Gran Torino "good", but I'd probably watch that again first.
Death Wish has got a kickin' rad soundtrack though.
Gran Torino is better and more entertaining. @UncleFok: Ever seen Death Wish 3? It's way over the top, just downright hilarious. Even though it isn't better than Gran Torino, I'd rather watch DW3 again.
