These are both amazing films, but I think Doubt is better, without a doubt.

The Performances in Doubt are great but I liked Frost/Nixon a little bit more I think it was a very good historical drama and Frank Langella is an underrated actor.

Two 2008 gripping dramas that are different takes on the impact of perception and on how that perception can define a person. Philip Seymour Hoffman is incredible in Doubt as is Frank Langella in Frost/Nixon. Both performances set the tone of the film and is what makes both worthy of a high ranking on any list. I believe Doubt has stronger performances from the other cast members and is the more compelling look at the flawed characters portrayed because of the acting of Meryl Streep, Amy Adams and Viola Davis.

You can't go wrong with either of these. Must say that Frost/Nixon wins due to one of the most compelling stories in political history...
