The original Maze Runner > Resident Evil

The Maze Runner was a surprisingly entertaining addition to the nonstop stream of forgettable YA film adaptations. The Scorch Trials was an incredibly lackluster contiuation with far too many shots of people standing still and looking back in shock at dangerous things coming towards them instead of getting the fuck out of the way.

The first Maze Runner was surprisingly entertaining. Scorch Trials had a promising first act but degraded into a typical YA movie

Maze Runner was great. Scorch Trials was terrible, but I felt the same results happened in the book series as well. The third installment will be somewhere in the middle as well, just like the books.
