Mars Attacks! is a fun take on the over-the-top sci-fi movies of the 50s and 60s, but Burton showed that being dark can also mean that you're moving. Possibly Burton's best film wins this bout.

Mars Attacks is funny, but it doesn't have half the heart of Edward Scissorhands.
