Oh god! Kid's fantasy vs. musical. What do you choose if you hate them both?
I chose Moulin Rouge because at least it has more beautiful people to look at.

I like musicals AND kid's fantasies. But for me Goblet of Fire was a pretty lame adaptation of the book, and quite a let-down to the franchise after Cuaron's Azkaban flick. Moulin Rouge, while a jukebox musical (oh, how I usually loath those) is visually inventive and quite touching--and Ewan MacGregor sings like a god. Enough said.

Moulin Rouge
Goblet of Fire gets more hate than it deserves. It is definitely a different experience from the book but it's still a solid film. Moulin Rouge was quite terrible
