Pulp Fiction vs. L.A. Confidential

I think Pulp Fiction wins just on sheer originality

Yeah good point Pulp Fiction stands alone still for original story, people try to make movies like it but never really do. While L.A. confidential is a cool LA noir film, but there are a lot of those.

Two of my favorite films ever made. I love L.A. Confidential, because it is perhaps the greatest detective movie ever made - replete with unforeseen twists, impressive acting by Crowe, Pierce and Spacey, and some of the coolest uses of shotguns ever in film history. However, for sheer cool factor, nothing tops Pulp Fiction, a movie that never seems to disappoint no matter how often or how recently I've seen it.

L.A. Confidential. I know I'm in the minority. I can't get enough of it. The drama-mystery genre intrigues me more.

L.A Confidential wins it, tough both films rank a full-star rating in my book. Pulp Fiction is the most original of the two, but L.A is storytelling at it's very best.

Pulp Fiction

I don't dig on swine, that's all.

L.A. Confidential

nice matchup, Pulp Fiction not really that close either
