Transformers vs. Quantum of Solace

i have to say since this is transformers one and solace is the sequel from the fantastic one, id have to go transformers. If it was the 1st transformers against the 1st (daniel craig) bond, id go bond.

As much as I did not like 'Quantam of Solace', my dislike for 'Transformers', is greater.

2 awful, awful films. Then again I hate Leboeuf's character, while I don't dislike the new Bond as much as the old one.

"Transformers" is flawed, yes, but the boy-gets-car-and-girl story is pretty universal and my inner geek loved seeing Optimus Prime again. Of all the Bond movies,"Quantum" best approximates Ian Fleming's literary style.

Not a fan of the Daniel Craig Bond, and Quantum of Solace seemed to be the most generic Bond movie that I've come across. The villain was dull and there wasn't much personality to any of it. I favor the Roger Moore (and Brosnan) Bond movies, so maybe that explains why I think Transformers is better than Quantum of Solace. Sometimes stupid fun is better than no fun at all. I like Olga Kurylenko more than Megan Fox, though, as far as movie ornaments go.

Quantum of Solace was a dull Bond dud and I still liked it better than Leboeuf and company and the mind numbing Transformers.

Quantum is only "bad" in comparison to Casino Royale. Compare it to the last three Brosnan Bond movies and we have a different story. I also don't understand all the hate toward Transformers. It was a damn fun summer blockbuster with some pretty amazing cgi fight scenes. People just get caught up in the LaBeouf / Bay hating party. That being said, this is pretty much a coin flip for me with both hovering around the middle of my list.

Gotta say I love Daniel Craig's bond, and liked Quantum of Solace. If I had a choice between watching Robots blow stuff up for three hours or Daniel Craig do some cool stunts for two. I'll take Craig.

Quantum of Solace isn't as bad as people make it out to be. If you truly think it's the worst Bond film of them all, then A. You haven't seen a lot of Bond films or B. You have a questionable taste in Bond films. I'm not saying it's GOOD, because it isn't, but it isn't as idiotic as Die Another Day or Diamonds are Forever and it isn't as dull (...or idiotic) as Moonraker. Yes, the action sucks, yes, the plot is confusing and yes, it's probably the only Bond film that can't stand on its own feet...but it isn't THAT bad. Transformers is THAT bad, though.

Yes, Quantum of Solace seems worse than it is because it compares so unfavorably to the excellent Casino Royale (and now Skyfall). It's not a bad or good movie, it's just mediocre. Transformers, meanwhile, was much better than it had any right to be and wins this matchup rather easily.

Both of these films are pretty good in my opinion. I'll take Bond, but its close.
