Ah, the two great disaster movies of '96. I vividly recall seeing each at the theater on their respective opening nights. "Independence Day" was probably a bit more fun, but "Twister" has held up better over the years.

Your Bill Paxton/Bill Pullman 1996 blockbuster double feature. Twister for me, is the one that delivered the best cinematic experience - ID4 was fun but a little overblown as an "event."
