Stephen King is the master of fear! Cujo is Great vicious and scary most of the film has one setting which is rare but Salem's Lot is Mysterious and the story is very entertaining lots of great effects A truley better film both are great but Lot is epic!
I was not a big fan of Cujo it got boring while they were in the car Salem's Lot by far wins

Cujo was a good adaptation, but as a movie it sucked balls. What Stephen King made so unique and chilling, was transformed into boring and flat. Salem's Lot was a terrible adaptation, and a hell of a boring movie, Turtle damn it. Still, it had a great casting (Barlow was completely wasted, but I did liked Ben and Mark choices. Straker was miscast, but James Mason still did a great job). I'd still take the overlong Salem's Lot over Cujo though. It's less worse, I guess...sigh.
