Two recent anti-religious movies. I suppose the big difference is that Religiulous is funny, while Jesus Camp is more of a horror movie. Religiulous is a stringent argument against religion, while Jesus Camp just shows religious people being religious in the most horrible ways possible. I suppose that makes Jesus Camp a much more powerful film, although Religulous is the more entertaining one.
Loved the "scary" apocalypse mongering at the end of Religulous. What a bunch of hyperbolic alarmist crap.
True, Maher tends to lay it on way thick, like facial thick, but Religulous is meh-ly entertaining and he's a funny guy. Maybe its not informative. Jesus Camp is more informative in that it takes a snapshot of crazy folk doing crazy things. Cant say I really care too much about either film any more (anymore).

Religulous wins. Deceptively close call. Talk about opposite sides of the spectrum.
