As Much as I love Dogs and St. Bernards in Particular I'm going to have to go with Babe here it's the better overall movie.

I adore dogs and I love dog movies, Beethoven being one of my favorites. But Babe is phenomenal and is the better movie by far.

I didn't like Beethoven at all. It's about a vet trying to kill a dog. That plot traumatized me as a kid and I haven't looked back since.
