Two movies jockeying for my number one spot. Life Aquatic is hilarious in a way that resonates with me so much more than others. The dialogue is almost without exception, absolutely perfect. But I must give the vote to Videodrome because despite its imperfections, it has burrowed its way into my consciousness in a very metatextual fashion. LONG LIVE THE NEW FLESH!
