Two very different types of horror movie that I enjoy. I don't know what it was, but I wasn't interested in Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance. In fact, I can say the same for Mrs Vengeance as well. The only film of the "trilogy" I like is Oldboy. Trick 'r Treat was just a fine ride, in the same vein as something like Creepshow or Tales from the Dark Side. I had a laugh, enjoyed the gore, and was surprised by some of the reveals.
