Two amazing films. Doesn't matter which one you prefer because they are both fantastic.

As good as The Usual Suspects is, which is a lot, Rashomon transcends film, and becomes a philosophical treatise on the nature of truth. And it has a swordfight or two.
Rashômon for me, but I love both.

Such a difficult choice. I love Suspects, but Rashomon is movie-making at its core. Both top 50 on my chart, but Rashomon is the victor in my opinion.
