I bit the bullet and watched A Serbian Film, expecting to be traumatized. I wasn't. The idea that some of the stuff was included in the movie was more disturbing than the actual presentation. I almost saw it as a really f**ked up dark comedy/satire because it was too ridiculous to take seriously. Nasty, yes. But not alarmingly twisted. Ant the movie was well-made, so it lacked the grimy sleaziness that would've made it more disturbing. Anyway, I liked The Baby Maker more. I'm kind of disturbed by this random matchup pairing. If you've seen A Serbian Film then you probably know where I'm coming from.
