Fantasia vs. The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe

FANTASIA RULES! A classic along classics, especially for musicians like myself, I guess, but also for every generation. My parents took me to see it in the theatre as a child and I recently bought the DVD for my children who also adore it. Disney is timeless and the classical selections are as well. Bravo!

For sure! Just rewatched it recently and a great deal of the segments are still continually entertaning! 'Narnia' is a well made film but not near the orginality of 'Fantasia'.

Fantasia was a crushing disappointment. Fantasia does almost nothing that's interesting or entertaining. Being quite a fan of classical music, I would've expected to have a great time with Fantasia. Instead, I found it to be little more than a series of desktop screensavers. On the other hand, The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe is a solid fantasy film, even if it doesn't reach the dramatic heights that it strives for. Narnia, hands down.

Narnia all day every day
