Two crushingly formulaic disappointments from 2016, I left both pissed off about how safe they ended up playing it. But at least Passengers had a solid firs half.
I loved Captain America: Civil War, although I guess an argument could be made that Marvel played it safe. Passengers, however, was completely ruined by how formulaic it ended up being. For me, this is an easy choice.

Passengers was flawed, but still worth a watch.

Love Chris Pratt but Civil War is a pure instant classic.
I liked Passengers but I loved Civil War !
