I just find out it's LOTR could get the win but hobbit an't
Ralph Bakshi beats Rankin-Bass any day. Although the Rankin-Bass Hobbit did eventually lead to Return of the King which did gave us the infamous "Where there's a whip" song, but aside from that, the Rankin-Bass animations are boring and ugly.

The LOTR is amazing! The Hobbit is cute but the LOTR is awesome.
