The Bourne Identity is a great action movie which thoroughly entertains the whole way through. It also adds a sense of mystery and will intrigue the viewer to make them watch more and also it is thrilling and keep you on the edge of your seat. The Shawshank Redemption, however, is a lot more slower but has a brilliant script full of charm, misey, comedy... It is excellently shot and gives a collection of empathisable characters. It has a wonderful beginning, middle and end and makes me unable to look away. Through the descriptions given, The Shawshank Redemption is my pick.

The Bourne Identity is a great action film but it doesn't match the grandness of Shawshank.

I absolutely love Bourne Identity. Should be the best trilogy ever made. Sadly they made two movies that were cash grabs. I'll still take Shawshank here.
Honestly, the Bourne trilogy did more for me than Shawshank!
I slightly prefer the Bourne Identity but for me it is more of a preference.
