Jaws is one of those masterpieces on its own but did ruin cinema in many ways by creating the "blockbuster". An idea that worked for about 10 years before turning into CG-and-action-driven, plotless cheese. Infinity War is in that category. Structure-less, action-driven setup. But, it may the most ambitious experiment in cinema, has exciting sequences, great character interactions and is incredibly fun. So, yeah unlike other modern blockbusters it gets a pass. What the hell am I taking about? I'm working right now, I shouldn't be procasting and pointlessly rambling about movies. Anyway, Jaws wins!

Avengers Infinity War is the better masterpiece here no question in my mind.

Infinity War has a great plot. I’m sorry if anyone missed the plot. This is Jaws though.

Will we ever see the return of great blockbusters like these? Seriously, has the death of the cinema experience meant no more big budget gambles?

Infinity War is tbe most overrated film. It is not even actual cinema. Jaws is the perfect example of actual cinema
