I really enjoyed Rise of an Empire so I am going with that for now guess I will have to revisit this tomorrow after I have had more time to think about it
as ok when I saw rise of an empire the first was like been as 8 years when it continue the series of begin of the squeal I go with second

While of course not as good as the "original" 300, Rise of an Empire does hold it's own as a pure Greek fantasy action film....

300 is the better film, largely because the sequel tried way too hard to work in "epic" soliloquies that came off cheesy. While both go way over the top on the blood spatter, 300: RoaE's gore was just plain fakey. I enjoyed it, but the steak got diluted by the attempt at sizzle.
Original is better in all aspects...

The sequel was more subtle, artful, complex, and had Eva Green.

Yes, 300: Rise of an Empire had Eva Green, but it was REALLY short on story. 300, for all its action, actually had a really cool story at its core. No contest...
