Both films are pretty funny, but putting the cheap laughs aside, of course Shaun of the Dead is a better movie as a whole.
America...F*** Yeah!!!!
Both of these films were a bit ruined for me by people constantly going on about how funny they were, and neither of them could really live up to the hype. There's still some jokes I like though--running tap water on a zombie bite or the montage song.

Sorry, Shaun, but Team America is the best comedy of 2004.
