Hugo vs. The Aviator

Hugo was sodden with kiddish sentimentality, and I'm not a fan of these -- as Scorsese puts it -- "love letters to past eras of cinema". Sacha Baron Cohen hasn't fully gotten rid of his Borat accent, it seems. His character was probably the worst part about the whole film. The Aviator is one of my favorite biopics. I'm glad Nolan scrapped his own Howard Hughes project because I don't think we need another one. Scorsese's version is perfectly satisfying.
