Circus of Fear vs. The Red Circle

Two lesser known entries in the Edgar Wallace series. Even though it's far from being perfect, I really like The Red Circle; it has an interesting plot, several surprising and excellent twists and a decent cast. Circus of Fear isn't bad, either, and certainly features more popular actors (such as Christopher Lee, Heinz Drache and Klaus Kinski), but the ending is rather weak, and it's sometimes pretty obvious that it is a British Wallace production. The few British Wallace movies that were actually made just lack the charm and wit of the classic German productions despite similar actors and budgets.
