Part one. Both are good though.

Easily the first one. I like the second part, too, but it just doesn't come close to the brilliance of the first movie, really.

Meet the Parents beats Meet the Fockers, not by a huge amount but it is better.

I am not a fan of Ben Stiller. And only a small percentage of my favorite movies are comedies; it is just not my favorite genre. These movies are ok. I liked Hoffman and Streisand in Meet the Fockers, but was it a better movie? I'm not sure. I'm going to go with Meet the Parents for now.

Both are very funny, but the first part is better.

This is one of those series that keep getting worse. The first one was amazingly hilarious, the second one was pretty funny, and the third one was eh. Meet the Parents wins.
I clearly remember skipping class to go and watch Fockers with a couple of close friends. That was a good day and those were good times.

While I don't think Meet the Parents is aging particularly well, it's still a decent-enough comedy. Meet the Fockers is just plain excruciating. Seriously, it's garbage.

Hoffman and Streisand sway this in Fockers' direction. I don't love either.

I absolutely loved Meet the Parents when I first saw it and was utterly disappointed by Meet the Fockers upon release. Although I don't mind the sequel so much these days, I'll still pick the original every time. It's better structured and a hell of a lot funnier.

I'll take the original, Meet the Parents, as the better film.

Robert De Niro is such an asshole in real life that can't even enjoy his old movies any more. Way to ruin a legacy.

Isn't De Niro an asshole in all his movies? In fact, his characters are very toned down compared to how he acts in real life? Yeah, he has been pretty controversial but how can that ruin your enjoyment of his movies?

I like both movies. They are both good comedy movies. I like Meet the Parents more though.
