Both are fun but Star Trek is awesome sci fi

Star Trek is good, though having spoken with die-hard trekkies I've begun to understand the inherent flaws which make both it and its sequel inferior to the originals (which I have not seen) and arguably more contemptible on their own (rampant objectification of women, being less about equality and co-operation and more about getting clean-cut marketable young faces onscreen, amongst other things). Hot Fuzz on the other hand has gone up in my estimations, and I find something new to laugh about with every viewing. Hot Fuzz wins this one.
