Fury Road is awesome, but Civil War is already one of my superhero movies. I'll take Cap here.

Civil War is exceptional cinema. Fury Road is a loud mess pretending to be a real movie. No contest here.

Civil War isn't exceptional cinema but it's still a damn good comic book movie. Despite its flaws, it's well made (it hurts to say that since I usually hate CGI), the characters are very well developed and I found myself interested in the story! It's a MCU film that takes risks and isn't just 120 minutes of explosions (unlike Doctor Strange which came out 6 months later). Mad Max sucks. Yeah it does. All style, no substance. I kept watching it and asking "where's the plot?". Vehicles and explosions for 90 minutes isn't enough for me!
Civil War was flawless in my book. Adding new characters perfectly all the while paying off the other Cap and Avenger movies. Mad Max did indeed suck. No substance for sure but not really even interesting style.
