Nosferatu the Vampyre vs. Bram Stoker's Dracula

The two best vampire flicks ever. "Bram Stoker's" gets a bad rap if you ask me. Having read the book, Coppola was surprisingly faithful and the Hammer-horror-on-acid approach is lots of fun. Gotta go with Herzog's take, tho... as much as I love Gary Oldman, Klaus Kinski is the greatest vampire of the silver screen.

Although Gary Oldman is great, Klaus Kinski is sooo creepy, otherworldly, monstrous.... It has to be Nosferatu

I'm with Protozoid in thinking that Coppola's Dracula doesn't get enough respect. Besides a couple of bad casting choices, it's a really lovely take on the story. But I'm also in agreement that it still doesn't hold a candle to Herzog's film.

Indescribably beautiful versus interminably boring. Dracula is the clear winner hear.

Easily the Nosferatu remake. Bram Stoker's Dracula was insanely silly.
