True Grit is -definitely- a top 5 western of the 21st century, one of the best works of Coen brothers and one of my favorite of their works as long as one of my very favorite westerns. However, The Raid, has gone too much under the radar in my opinion. It's probably my second favorite martial arts movie ever behind Ip Man and maybe behind Ip Man 2. The Raid was also my #6 for 2012 trailing only big time movies like Django, TDKR, the Avengers etc. Its plot is nothing special, but it has some of the best fighting coreography you'll ever see. Make sure y'all check it out if you haven't already. Do yourself that favor.
