Forty Guns vs. Viva Maria!

I guess these are both westerns about women who are kind of badasses. Forty Guns has the problem of not being long enough. What is in the movie is interesting, but the romance and other drama needed more attention. Maybe if it was two hours instead of just 80 minutes, something epic could've resulted. Viva Maria! actually feels too long, or at least what's in the movie doesn't make the length agreeable. These both have some of my favorite actresses in them (Stanwyck, Moreau, Bardot), but I still felt disappointed. Viva Maria! wins mostly for having better musical numbers.
