This is a hard decision....A Nightmare on Elm St. was a good movie. It had it's scary parts, and it had it's comedy. If this movie wasn't created, then it wouldn't have a impact now. scream 2 was excellent movie too, it had it's wonderful parts and it's excellent parts. but It'll have to be.....Scream 2

Nightmare is one of the first ones but Scream 1 & 2 took Horror to new heights
A Nightmare on Elm Street, and this isn't even a contest. You should not even be allowed to pick Scream 2 here.
