A Nightmare on Elm Street vs. The Texas Chain Saw Massacre

I really need to watch A Nightmare on Elm Street again and until I do I have to go with The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

A Nightmare on Elm Street, definitely. It was more than a slasher, it had a great concept behind it.

I know I'm in the minority on this, but I absolutely hated The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. People complain that actors in horror films suck nowadays...guess what: the actors in TTCSM ain't much different! If I want my ears bleeded out by a screaming girl, then sure, I'll watch it. But fuck me is TTCSM annoying. A Nightmare on Elm Street isn't great, but at least it was enjoyable.

bled* Egh, whatever.

I love both films both some of my favorite horror flick of all time I got to go with my absolute favorite though

Leatherface kill Freddy

Wes Craven's masterpiece beats Wes Craven's favorite film.

A Nightmare on Elm Street definitely. Not just for the re-watchable factor, it's much more original and cool, and not boring.

Both are good, but Texas Chainsaw Massacre will always be a more disturbing movie to me.
