To Kill a Mockingbird vs. The Great Dictator

Two fabulous movies, with two great performances by their leads. This is very tough as they are number 32 and 43 on my list. I'm giving this one to The Great Dictator because Chaplin's speech at the end of this movie might be my favorite movie speech ever rivaled by Spencer Tracy in Guess Who's Coming To Dinner.

Eh, I like Charlie Chaplin better when he doesn't talk. Gregory Peck? He had a voice that could make a wolverine purr, and suits so fine they made Sinatra look like a hobo.

The Great Dictator barely wins here.
