Gerard Butler action showdown, huh? I thought Law Abiding Citizen had some interesting ideas, but was not exactly perfect in its execution. That said, I thought it was decent. Olympus Has Fallen is, obviously, a blatant Die Hard clone. However, I had a fun time with it. (The fact that I saw it in the theater - a relative rarity for me - no doubt gives it a boost.) I guess the question is whether I go with the movie that was more overtly entertaining, or the one that at least seems to have some substance behind it, though flawed. Olympus wins for now.
