Really tough choice. Both are great movies but I respect Seven Samurai just a bit more.

Shit. I had a better time with Strangelove, but Seven Samurai is nearly as beloved to me as Strangelove. The themes of finding one's place in the world are extremely well used as is the critique of humanity's hubris in Strangelove. Ultimately, I have Seven Samurai marginally higher due to its breathtaking cinematography, editing, lighting, score, etc.
