How is there no comments on this matchup? Two of the finest courtroom dramas of all time. I really liked Anatomy, but I absolutely loved Witness. For me, Witness is a masterpiece and the clear winner here. Still a very good matchup for discussion though.

Both very good courtroom dramas. Anatomy is solid as hell. One of the most solid movies I've ever seen. Witness however, is something more.
Two of my favorite Courtroom Dramas, both of which feature excellent performances across the board. Anatomy of Murder is fantastic, but I gotta continue the shutout here.

Anatomy of a Murder is better than Witness for the Prosecution. Charles Laughton's performanc is the entire movie (WFTP). All of the performances in Anatomy of a Murder are great and the screenplay for AOM is so far ahead of it's time it seems silly to compare the two films.
