In '93, a very brave choice for Hanks and Washington (especially Hanks) and a truly remarkable, moving, poignant film. For me, it was the first time the AIDS crisis got really humanized for a lot of people. Superman Returns was really great, but it can't hold up against a boldlyl revolutionary movie such as Philadelphia. Sorry, Clark.
