The Nightmare Before Christmas is quintessential Burton, but Shrek is the perfect combination of fantasy, comedy and animation.

I'm sure a million Hot Topic shoppers will cry out in anguish at this, but I've never liked The Nightmare Before Christmas.

the animation and elfman scoring make nightmare much more memorable and rewatchable for me.

I enjoyed "Nightmare" long before it became a staple at Hot Topic. I don't normally go for musicals, but this one is so bizarre I couldn't help but enjoy it. And I know this isn't the prevailing opinion, but I actually enjoyed "Shrek 2" the most of that series to date. "NBX" gets my vote.

Two great animated films, and while I find Shrek is funnier I just love the look and atmosphere of The Nightmare Before Christmas and I appreciate the stop-motion animation and amazing music. Winner is The Nightmare Before Christmas.
