Two of my favourite Christmas films, but I've seen Elf many more times, and it will never be a movie I get tired of.

Vaction wins but both are great.
Man, that's a tough one. Arguably my two favorite holiday films of all time. Honestly, I think those two are tied. I couldn't pick one I liked better. Wow.
National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation without a doubt. A movie that is a must watch every Christmas but still a movie I enjoy all throughout the year and never get tired of. Elf is a movie that I was amused by the first few times I saw it and now I'm tired of from far too much overexposure.

I find Elf much funnier. Was never a huge fan of Vacation.

Elf makes my laugh more but Vacation has more heart and is more quotable.
