The Santa Clause is a good movie, but Elf is a more touching Christmas classic.

The Santa Clause for me. To be fair, I did grow up with it so it does hold a special place in my heart over Elf which I saw once I was a teenager. Both are wonderful Christmas classics that can be enjoyed by the whole family and both understand the magic of Christmas. I really like Tim Allen's 1990s comedy.
