This one is really tough for me. Fitzcarraldo is an insane movie in so many ways. See The Burden of Dreams for further details. I got so caught up in the wonder surrounding this one white-suited lunatics mad fantasy that it became a joyous experience. The Innocents is a wonderfully ambiguous ghost story/costume drama involve repressed sexualities, a taboo relationship and the effects these things have on children. It's also immensely creepy. Argh, still don't know which to pick. OK. I'm going to choose the Innocents.
