The Godfather Part II all the way.

This is a tougher choice than most. The Matrix changed my life in a huge way, while the Godfather Part II is the best sequel of all time besides Empire. So, very difficult to choose between the two. They are both in my top 50. I will have to say The Matrix for now, it inspired me to be what I am today as a filmkaker.

The Godfather
The Godfather: Part II is one film I highly rate amongst my all-time favourites, but The Matrix has just had more of a profound effect on me. It also wins out on sheer entertainment value. Both masterpieces for sure!
