Silence of the Lambs is a better movie...but if I'm forced to watch one...it's The Matrix.

Silence of the Lambs for me too. One of the first movies I saw that showed me just how great a movie can be. I also waited to see The Matrix too long with the first viewing coming just a few years ago and it ended up underwhelming. I did just watch the 4k release though and enjoyed it a little more.

The Matrix for me, it has a better villain and a way better story tbh. I'd rate it a 9/10 meanwhile TSOTL is a solid 8/10 for me.

MATRIX is freakin AWESOME !! Silence of the lambs is the best pshyc thriller of all time. SOTL is the more adult movie and Hannibal is HARD to BEAT . I am giving a tiny edge to Silence of the LAMBS for now
