The Fox and the Hound vs. Pocahontas

The eighties may have been kind of a low point for Disney's feature length animations, but Fox and the Hound still owns Pocahontas

I'm actually going to go with The Fox and the Hound on this one. I may be biased, because it was a childhood favorite, but thinking about it for the first time in a long while, I honestly think it's a terrific film. It touches on issues of tolerance, acceptance and non-conditional friendship with humor and pathos and the characters are well-drawn (both literally and figuratively). Pocahontas has some good songs and beautiful animation, but it can't beat The Fox and the Hound.

Pocahontas had some really good moments just not enough to beat the heartfelt Fox&Hound!

The Fox and the Hound is way better. The other is one of the worst Disney movies ever.
