Apollo 13 vs. Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade

Houston, we have a problem.

Choose wisely. You lose today, kid. But that doesn't mean you have to like it.

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade was superior to Houston's problem.

"Apollo 13" is special because even knowing what happens and how it played out, the performances make it compelling--even in repeat viewings. It bests an enjoyable, but uninspired "Indy" sequel.

I liked Apollo 13 a lot, but for some reason or another, I just couldn't love it. Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade was much easier to love. It's one of the most fun and purely entertaining films I've ever seen.

Apollo 13 is so damn good...it just isn't Last Crusde good though. But hot damn...it's close...

Apollo 13 gets automatic victory. I enjoyed Last Crusade immensely, but i never had the same passion or devoted fandom for the Indiana Jones as a lot of other people do.

*Indiana Jones films

Both are truly inspiring movies, but Apollo 13 is more so.
