Man, I loved Stephen King's The Shining. It's just like the book, kinda tiresome, but I really liked it. Still, it has one of the biggest holes of the long and sad plot holes story. If Grady shot himself in the middle of the winter, who dumped the boiler? This fuckin' hotel should have blown up in the same day! And that what's make Kubrick's version better. Jack Nicholson' great acting, how well crafted it was, and the vanishing of unnecessary plot points, such as the grass animals. It's Kubrick over King every day, all day long.

as a film and as a whole piece of work The Kubrick Shining is one in not the Greatest Horror films ever made! I think one of the best movies ever for sure!
